Everything started with a trip to a Cat Show in 1990. I was interested in getting a cat for a pet, so I went to the show to see the different breeds and try to decide which one was best for me. After making the rounds and talking with a few breeders, I left with a silver persian kitten. This little guy was so much fun to have around, so when a silver exotic female was offered a few months later, I couldn't say no. These were the parents of our first three kittens - I was hooked !!! Like everybody else, I started reading books and magazines, and realized that even though they were the same breed, the cats had different looks and expressions. The more I looked, I decided that I liked the Diadem cats best. I continued breeding and finally, in 1995, I was able to get Diadem Love On The Rocks of Kitnkiss and about 6 months later Diadem Delilah.The lines I breed with are mainly Diadem, Harthrob and Sonnet. Kitnkiss has always been a small, cageless cattery with no more than 10 cats, including our neuters. My goal is to breed  healthy persians and exotics with excellent type and temperament. Whether bought for breeding, showing or just as a pet, Kitnkiss cats are good and loving companions.
